At home I do all the cooking. My partner knows about 5-10 simple dishes he can cook but has never properly ventured out meat with some veggies. One thing he has made ever since I have know him is a chunky salsa. Whenever I am in need of a snack he will make this salas with some corn chips. This is one of my favourite snacks.
This salsa is the easiest thing to make, I have a contraption that I use to dice all the veggies which makes it possible to make this in 5 minutes. If you dice the ingredients by hand it will take you a bit longer.
The easy way to remember this salsa is 3-2-1-1. All you need is, 3 tomatoes, 2 red onions, 1 jalapeño and 1 lime. The cilantro is optional. It is nice to add it however I only tend to use it if I have some hidden in my fridge somewhere. I wouldn’t go out and buy cilantro specifically for this salsa.
All that is left to do is serve this chunky salsa with some corn chips and enjoy.
