Today is another Wednesday., which can only mean one thing. Time for another smoothie. This week I set out to make smoothie with cherries. Firs of all because I have never used cherries to make smoothies and secondly because I had somehow accumulated 3 bags of frozen cherries in my freezer and they really needed to be used.
My expectations for cherry smoothie were quite low, let’s just say I was amazingly surprised by how good cherry smoothies can be. I loved them so much that over the next few weeks you will be getting a few cherry smoothies. For today I made simple but delicious cherry peach smoothie.
This smoothie was probably my favourite of all. It doesn’t taste anything like a smoothie, it tasted more like cherry creaming soda. Except healthy and not with cream. The one ingredient you absolutely can not skip is the vanilla essence. I made this smoothie with and without vanilla essence and also with real and imitation vanilla essence. You definitely will want to use real vanilla essence as that makes this smoothie spectacular.
